The contrast between the rich detailing on the walnut burl drawer fronts and the matt white cube acts as a narrative; a literal visual link that frames and exhibits the work of this traditional cabinet maker.
By framing and exhibiting the work in a minimal white cube I wanted to draw the viewers attention to the quality of craftsmanship and skills that exist in the UK and especially in London.
