Da Vinci Design Workshop
Friday Late ‘Invent’
Victoria and Albert Museum Dec 2006

To coincide with the opening of the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Sam Johnson and I were asked to host a design workshop which celebrates the inventive nature of the human mind.

Based on the Victorian parlour game ‘exquisite corpses’, visitors of all ages were invited to contribute to imaginatively titled collaborative inventions including;
A weapon of mass peace
A robot chef
A machine to take you to mars
An underwater city

Visitors were provided with selection of inspirations images which could be used as references, and drew with specially adapted 'quill felt pens'. As drawings were completed they were hung on display
