V&A Village Fete 2007
For this years village fete Sam Johnson and Richard Shed were purveyors of fine miscellaneous things.
Just as their fathers were before them as were their fathers, fathers and their fathers, fathers, fathers.
This was your opportunity to visit their fine establishment in the gardens of the V&A and purchase one of their fine miscellaneous things.
Over 400 fine and wondeful miscellaneous things were collected by Richard and Sam over the course of a couple of months from markets, charity shops, ironmongers...
For a small fee visitors were able to let fete take control and determine which fine miscellaneous thing they would walk away with by step inside our fine temporary establishment and pulling on one of the hundreds of strings hanging down.
Attached to the other end of every piece of string was paper bag containing a fine micellaneous things.
