China Diaries

Following a trip to Guangzhou, China late last year, ID magazine offered to publish the diary I wrote when I was there.
Along with the written element, I also designed the layout which takes the viewer into a desktop landscape populated by figures, aterfacts and images collected on the trip.

Intersections
Design know-how for a new era

Intersections was a two-day conference exploring what designers need to know for the future. I took part in a panel discussion titled, 'But is it art?' Discussing the boundaries between design and art.
Chaired by Vicky Richardson and including Allan Chochinov, Peter Saville and Matthew Collings.

Inspired by tin robots from the 40's and 50's and the beauty of random
stationary we have created our robot workshop. Children and adults are welcome to come and create their own personal robot, name it and give it a special power.
